The conditions at Shark Park are superb and the sharks do their thing!

The conditions prior to the cold front have been superb at Shark Park. The teams have had up to four big tigers and over forty blacktips. Add the 25m visibility and flat calm seas and Shark Park is really delivering. Lots of gamefish have come onto the coast in anticipation of the Sardine Run and divers are reporting wahoo, tuna and marlin all over the place.
Tuna caught at Protea BAnks off Shelley Beach on Friday all had fresh sardines in their stomachs which bodes well for the KZN coast and Sardine Run 2008. Our teams chasing the sardines are currently moving ahead to catch the pilot shoals with masses of activity stacking up in the Eastern Cape. See their report at http://sharkroute.blogspot.com
