Water turns cold at Shark Park but Sardines on our doorstep!

The north easter of the 10th June dropped the visibility and temperature at Shark Park. This meant a less than spectacular dive but the sharks were still the stars. The good news for the Shark Route teams is that the Sardines have hit the KZN coast and the teams all got great action today. The bulk of the sardines still appear to be in the East London area. Although it must be said that the entire Eastern Cape is literally awash with Sardines.
On our spotter flight this afternoon big shoals of Sardines were easily visible from the air. There were also thousands of gannets, dolphins and sharks with the sardines.
