The team at Shark Park had some great diving with the raggies today. There was a moderate south to north current and 15m visibility. The current has the effect of keeping the raggies in the recesses and thus makes it easier to film. The numbers are truly impressive and it is fantastic to have them back on Aliwal in such numbers.
The team then jumped in with the Blacktips and were pleasantly surprised to see the early arrival of five dusky sharks. The water temp. is still on the low side for the tigers but the other shark species more than made up for the absence of tigers.
