There is good news, bad news and the worst kind of news!

After a period off air when technologically nothing would go right we at Shark Park got back online to a mixed day. Firstly, the visibility and water temperature have been miserably low of late and seemed to have chased all of the tiger tribe away. The good news is that the raggies are still here and we saw two whale sharks today. The terrible news is that whilst Blue Wilderness staffer, Steve Benjamin, was doing an educational trip with a group of school children he found a dead pregnant female ragged tooth shark in the shark nets off Scottburgh. This is one of nearly 10 000 such harmless raggies caught in the nets since meshing began.
