Massive rains and big easterly winds rock Shark Park!
A devastating storm which raged for two days has caused massive damage to the KZN coast over this past week. The weather is on the mend but the rains have caused all the rivers to burst their banks and the gale force easterly winds have caused the water temperatures to drop to 18 degrees celsius. Diving at Shark Park was adversely affected and between zero visibility and the cold waters shark sightings were at an all time low. Things are on the mend and hopefully there will be better news in the week ahead. To see what effect the freak weather had on the Shark Route teams following the Sardine Run see http://sharkroute.blogspot.com
